Dream/Dive Camping Hut by Studio North
What happens when you stick a bunch of architects on a lake with some 2x4s and a hammer? Well, apparently the Dream/Dive Camping Platform is what happens.
This Calgary, Canada based architectural firm allowed themselves to have a little fun with this project. Constructed from salvaged materials over just a weekend at a family cottage on Bobs Lake in Ontario, Canada – this little 64 sq. foot angled platform hangs over a swimming hole and even features a screened off portion for stargazing after the sunset. Part of the appeal of this whole project is just how simple it really is – the simple joy of jumping into a lake and sleeping under the stars doesn’t need too many bells or whistles.
