From calling him “Beyond intense”, to labeling him “the Bernie Sanders of graphic design,” people have tried to describe Aaron Draplin in a bunch of different ways – but more simply put, the guy is just really damn good at graphic design. He’s the father of the ever-popular Field Notes, and has done design work for iconic brands like Ford, Patagonia, Burton, and Esauire.

Now the founder of Portland, Oregon based DDC is releasing a ‘Mid-career survey’ of his work. The 256 paged ‘Draplin Design Co.: Pretty Much Everything’ will be released by Abrams books on May 17th, and will come complete with 300 full-color illustrations. The hardcover book will retail for $27, and it’s currently available for pre-order online. [Purchase]
