Donkervoort is a truly unique car manufacturer. Originally started in the late 1970s as a maker of exotic and bespoke vehicles, they have found their own niche in the high-end automobile market by making cars that have no electronic assistance. That’s right; no ABS, power steering, etc. Now, years later, the Dutch car maker is still sticking to their ‘no compromises’ motto with the release of their D8 GTO-RS.

This barely street legal monster is based off of the D8 GTO, and boasts a 2.5 liter turbocharged inline-five engine that will most likely pump out upwards of the 380 horses in this newest model (a specific stat sheet has yet to come through). Improvements will be given to more than just the engine, Donkervoort has promised better handling heading into corners with a new suspension complete with a widened stance and better brakes to boot. If you want one of these things and are willing to throw down the coin for it, you better act quickly. Only forty or so will be made, half of which have already been purchased. The vehicle will be retailing for right around $175,000.
