Between one-off McLarens, competition-proven Porsches, and aluminum-bodied GT40s, Gooding & Company’s upcoming Pebble Beach auction already had quite the star-studded lineup. But with the addition of an entire fleet of iconic Ferraris, needless to say — the sale has quickly become a must-see, once-in-a-lifetime event.
As part of the 20-plus vehicles in the Donald L. Weber Collection, Gooding & Company will be offering six different masterpieces from Maranello. Headlining the lot is undoubtedly the 1967 275 GTB/4, a car that Mr. Weber purchased new in Italy and owned over the course of his lifetime. Presented with its original books, tools, and warranty card, it’s set to fetch as much as $3.5M. However, we’d be remiss not to mention that a 1992 F40 will be joining the lot as well. One of only 22 examples built in the final year of production, it comes with a mere 2,500 miles on the clock. No wonder, then, that it’s expected to claim some $2.2M itself. In addition to these two unicorns, there will also be a 1965 275 GTS, a 1973 365 GTB/4 Daytona, a 1986 Testarossa, and a 1984 512 BBi Koenig Special, with each one easily commanding a six-figure sum. They’ll cross the block on August 13th and 14th, but you can check them out below.
