Dodge Charger Pursuit

Ya know that stomach-dropping feeling you get when you see the red and blue lights in your rearview mirror? Well there’s now an even better chance of seeing them. Yeah, that thought probably brought the feeling back on its own, huh?

You can blame Dodge’s new Charger Pursuit, a powerfully fast crook-catcher with either a 3.6-liter Pentastar V-6 or 370-horsepower, 390 pound-foot torque HEMI V-8 for the fiercest of high speed chases (0 to 60 is said to happen in less than six seconds). There’s plenty of perks for the men in blue, including seat side bolsters specially designed to accommodate guns and walkie talkies, a steering column-mounted shifter to free up the center console for laptops, a trunk fan to keep electrical doo-dads cool back there, and optional ballistic door panels and steel-backed front seats.
