Dodge Challenger GT AWD Concept
We love tearing up the tarmac in the Hemi-powered Challenger just as much as the next man, but truth be told, it’s a pain in the ass to drive a RWD vehicle with that much power in winter weather. Well that was the inspiration (or so we’ve been told) behind the Dodge Challenger GT AWD Concept.
Equipped with the same 5.7-liter Hemi V8, this all-wheel drive Challenger is ready for any weather conditions. It’s also seen some nice performance updates by way of the Scat Pack 3 Performance Kit, a setup which adds an additional 75 ponies and 44 lb-ft of torque to the mix, making this thing good for 447 horsepower and 454 lb-ft of torque – all while still keeping that factory warranty in tact. Dodge also threw in a Mopar suspension kit along with front and rear strut tower braces to improve handling. The 2-door is draped in a Destroyer Grey paint job with matte black and Header Orange accents throughout, while a Mopar wide-body kit and a set of 20 inch wheels on all 4 corners rounds things out on the exterior. The vehicle is set to debut at the 2015 SEMA show, and there’s a decent chance this model eventually makes it way to the assembly line.
