DIY Bullet Casing Headphones
The bad news: you live in a dangerous neighborhood. The good news: you can easily find the key ingredients for DIY bullet casing headphones!
Igor from Inspire To Make created 100 pairs of such headphones he handmade personally, but as you might imagine, those sold out pretty fast. But he’s been kind of enough to show us how he does it with his DIY Headphones video, a step-by-step guide to building your own badass ear buds. His ingredients and tool list: 2 bullet shells S&W .40 Cal; old headphones; 10mm wooden dowel; sandpaper 400Grit and 800Grit; finishing sponge; hacksaw; battery powered drill; drill bit (diameter of the drill bit should match the diameter of the wire); soldering iron; vice or a clamp to fix the bullet casing for drilling. Judging by Igor’s sales success with them online, if you do it right, you might have a nice little business opportunity there. Check out the video below. [Tutorial]
