Enjoy A Meal 220 Miles Above Earth At Disney’s Space-Themed Restaurant

Disney’s resorts and theme parks have long strived to provide over-the-top, out-of-this-world rides and experiences, though the multinational entertainment and hospitality firm is now taking this in a more literal sense with the reveal of its latest forthcoming restaurant dubbed Space 220.

The restaurant will be located in World Discovery at Epcot and will serve a menu consisting of modern American cuisine as well as a bevy of craft beers and cocktails. What makes this establishment unique, however, is undoubtedly its theme, which is designed to lend the impression of being 220-miles above the earth at night. This is accomplished through the restaurant’s walls being lined with massive 4K displays that act as faux windows into outer space. The images displayed won’t be static either, and will boast moving satellites, shooting stars, flying spacecraft, meandering astronauts, and other interstellar eye candy for diners. Disney has yet to reveal an official opening date, though for more info you can check out Space 220’s web page linked below.
