Disco Hammock

Could disco be making a comeback? Well, no, probably not. But the 70s’ over-criticized musical genre was revived a bit by Daft Punk’s Random Access Memories last year, and now we have – drumroll please – the Disco Hammock.

Betabrand’s nap-attractor is based on ENO’s DoubleNest Hammock, but this one features sparkly nylon “Disconium” that practically screams Donna Summer. We say “practically” because thankfully it doesn’t; it just provides a funky place for one or two people (400-pound weight capacity) in its 9’4” x 6’2” space to relax in while wondering about the whereabouts of KC and his Sunshine Band. It features heavy-duty triple-stitched seams, aluminum wiregate carabiners, quick-drying nylon, and an attached compression stuff sack. Pre-order now and get it for $97.20. [Purchase]
