DEW Reimagines The Dry Bag As A Stylish Everyday Backpack

Jun 17, 2019

Typically, when it comes to backpacks, we’re forced to choose between those that look good and those that function well — especially when it comes to waterproof options. The folks at DEW, however, think that a completely submersible pack can also be handsome enough to carry with you every day, which they’ve proven with their AVO dry bag.

Inspired by streetwear, this minimalist pack certainly wouldn’t look out of place during anyone’s daily commute. And since it comes in four different stylish colorways, you can pick the one that suits the rest of your everyday carry best. While the AVO’s appearance is top-notch, the bag also boasts functionality that puts similarly-styled packs to shame. It’s waterproof, airtight when sealed, boasts nearly-indestructible high-frequency welded seams, and can even stand up to abrasions. They even went so far as to include a secondary, removable laptop sleeve that can turn into its own standalone backpack, if you need to stay quick on your feet with your tech in tow. The DEW AVO dry bag launches on Kickstarter on June 18th.
