Devonworks Star Wars Watch
With Star Wars: The Force Awakens coming soon, companies are scrambling to create their own Star Wars-themed merchandise in-time for the the movie’s release. Devon, an LA-based design team, has taken the merchandising to an entirely new level with their Darth Vader-inspired watch, which will retail for $28,500.
The elaborate timepiece is filled with nods to the Sith Lord, including a strap that looks like his gloves, an Imperial logo on the tuner, accents taken from his helmet, and of course, the fact that it’s entirely black. The watch also comes with a stand that is designed to look like a TIE Fighter. But this watch isn’t just some dinky cash grab. Instead, it has a scratch-resistant polycarbonate lens with bulletproof durability, 350 individual parts, four micro-step motors and it comes with TIE Fighter cuff links. It is an extremely limited edition, as only 500 are being produced. [Purchase]
