The ‘Desert House’ Is A Brutalist Dream Home For Rock Climbing Explorers

Following Amey Kandalgaonkar’s ‘House Inside a Rock,’ the digital architect has decided to branch into other areas of futuristic design. But, regardless of the size, stature, or medium with which his buildings are associated, the artist’s organic focus stays the same. Now, Amey’s systematic approach has been reaffirmed with his recent dwelling, the Desert House.

As you might expect, Kandalgaonkar’s monolithic living structure is located in an arid, foliage-free environment. Alongside its large concrete columns and subtly-rounded edges, smaller situations of rock, dirt, and grass can be found, giving way to a much larger centralized formation. The home’s unique “T” shape remains directly adjacent, ending in a sublime curvature that embraces and wraps around the area’s various geological protrusions of marble, quartz, and talc. From above, an interesting socialization area, terrace, and furnished lounge provide denizens with innocuous relaxation under the area’s blistering sun, before heading back inside through one of the home’s many large, concrete entryways.
