Given that outdoor recreation is among the few remaining activities safe for us to enjoy, isolated A-Frames have become the definitive destination for folks hoping to break from the monotony of their daily routines. However, as great as it is that we’re all spending a bit more time connecting with nature, it can be impossible to find a glamping getaway of your own available for booking. Thankfully, cabin design specialist Den has just the answer to such a dilemma.
Billed as a flat-packed cabin that can be built over the course of a weekend, Den’s DIY A-Frame Kit makes for the perfect entry into the world of prefab homes. Each piece is cut with CNC precision and features pre-drilled holes, ensuring that the finished design comes together with minimal hassle. What’s more, the materials are organized according to the order in which they’ll be needed, much like a giant LEGO. In practice, this means that the Den Cabin Kit can be built with just a ratchet set, a power drill, a ladder, and a staple gun. Available in three exterior finishes, the final A-Frame comes in at 115sq ft with 11ft ceilings and room for two. It costs $21,000 including delivery.
