Deckers X Lab is the skunkworks project behind HOKA’s latest and greatest innovations, frequently rolling out tech the likes of which the shoe world has never seen. But with WFH likely to be with us for some months to come, this time they turned their attention indoors. What results is a hybrid slipper that combines the cozy comfort of an UGG boot with the ultra-cush midsole of a HOKA running shoe.
Dubbed the “SNPR,” it’s the newest addition to the Deckers X Lab KO-Z line, a collection of shoes that walks the line between streetwear performance and at-home relaxation. Made from EcoTan sheepskin and cow suede with a 10mm wool interior, the KO-Z SNPR makes for a plush experience at first step. Underfoot, it incorporates an 80% looped wool insole for natural temperature regulation. In other words — no more sweaty foot stink. Riding on an EVA foam Xponent midsole paired with HOKA’s Meta-rocker geometry, this slipper is not only incredibly soft; it’s also surprisingly springy. Backed by the American Podiatric Medical Association’s (APMA) Seal of Acceptance, the KO-Z SNPR is a guaranteed way to treat your feet. They’re available now in both low and mid cuts for $120 and $150 respectively.
