Death Wish Cold Brew Coffee

While the appropriately named Death Wish Coffee no longer holds the mantle for most caffeinated beans, this newest release of theirs is a sign that they’re still dead-set on trying to give you a literal heart attack. Introducing Death Wish Coffee Cold Brew.

Each of the 11-ounce cans in these four-packs come filled to the top with nitrogenated black sludge. That means that even though this coffee comes straight – with no cream or sugar – it still boasts a smooth mouthfeel. Be careful, though. Regular cold brew can be anywhere between 2 and 8.5 times more caffeinated than your regular cup of coffee. Seeing that Death Wish’s ’normal’ beans clock in at 59 milligrams of caffeine per ounce, this brew could conceivably range between 118 to 495 milligrams per ounce. That means there could be up to 5,451 milligrams of caffeine in one 11-ounce can. We seriously doubt the caffeine level is actually as high as our back-of-the-envelope sketches tell us (plus, most companies don’t want to murder their customers), but at the rate this caffeinated arms-race is going, we wouldn’t be surprised.
