Until recently, if you wanted to indulge in the world’s most expensive burger, you’d have to travel to the restaurant Fleur, inside Las Vegas’ Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino where the truffle shaving-encrusted wagyu beef seared foie gras “Fleurburger 5000 Burger” would cost you a cool $5,000. However, this exorbitantly-priced Guinness World Record has now been overtaken by an even more over-the-top offering with De Daltons “The Golden Boy’ Burger.”
Priced at $6,100 each, the Golden Boy features a patty made from Wagyu A5 brisket and chuck short ribs that are complimented with white wine-cooked King Crab meat, Dom Perignon battered onion rings, Joselito Bellota vintage Jamon, white truffle, smoked saffron chive mayonnaise made from duck eggs, Kopi Luwak coffee and Macallan Single Malt Whiskey Rare Cask barbecue sauce, matcha-pickled tiger tomato and cucumber, Beluga caviar, and truffle-infused cheddar cheese from Wyke Farms. And that’s all added before the burger is basked in whiskey-impregnated smoke and served on a Dom Perignon champagne bun adorned in genuine gold leaf.
