Daymak C5 Blast Go-Kart

One of our favorite parts of going to the local mini-golf courses when we were kids was the promise of getting to ride on the go-karts. While their performance was perhaps a bit lacking, those little race cars were a whole lot of fun. If any of those miniature amusement parks had Daymak’s C5 Blast Go-Kart, however, we would’ve probably never left.

These Canadian-made all-electric go-karts are heralded as the fastest in the world. And while that sounds like a bold claim, they have the numbers to back it up. For starters, the Standard edition goes 0-60 in just 3.5 seconds. That’s better than most full-sized sedans. The Ultimate edition, however, can hit 60 in 1.5 – which is supercar-level quick. Both editions are powered by a brushless 48v/10KW DC motor which is mated to 2400 watt-hour combined lithium Panasonic battery cells. And each of these absurdly overpowered go-karts is custom made to order. There is, however, a pretty big price gap between the two editions. The Standard goes for $9,999, whereas the Ultimate makes a huge jump to $59,999. But that’s what you pay if you want the best of the best.

Purchase: $9,999+
