Dark As Night Batman Motorcycle Helmet

While Batman has always had a large impact on pop culture, it’s hard to argue that Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy didn’t help resurrect the caped crusader’s popularity. The design team at Helmet Dawg have tapped into that popularity, using the DC Comics character as inspiration for their “Dark as Night” Batman motorcycle helmet.

What started as a GMax GM48S Platinum Series full face motorcycle helmet has now been transformed into a pointy eared, blacked out helmet that’s worthy of the Dark Knight himself. The customization process was long and tedious, and took the team quite some time to get the ears and browline accents dialed in properly. Several coats of black automotive paint along with a clear coat finish ensure that your helmet will remain glossy black for years to come. There is one drawback though. The finished product is not DOT approved, but it’s worth noting that before the customization process, the GMax helmet is in fact DOT approved, so the finished product is functional. You can head over to the Helmet Dawg online store to purchase your Batman motorcycle helmet. [Purchase]
