It took a while, but woven fabric uppers have finally made their way to the world of hiking boots. Introducing Danner Boots’ new Mountain 600 Enduroweave.

Rather than using their usual leather, these boots from Danner employ a special carbon washed textile upper and mesh liner for a more lightweight, breathable fit that makes them ideal for warm weather hiking. This new technology combined with the Vibram SPE midsole and Fuga outsole make make the boot all the more capable thanks to its advanced cushioning and adaptive lugs that grip even on wet surfaces. And to top it all off, these boots are much more affordable than most hikers from the heritage Portland-based brand. You can pick up a pair in either Black or a more traditional Brown.

Purchase: $160
