The winter months are upon us, which means that more and more individuals are trekking into the wilderness without proper hiking gear. For Danner, this serves as the perfect opportunity to introduce their newest take on the Mountain 600 boot, a rugged and slightly taller version by the name of the Arctic 600 Side-Zip.
Danner has pulled out all the stops for this offering, utilizing a frost-resistant Vibram sole, PrimaLoft Gold 400G synthetic insulation, and an anatomical insole that fits perfectly with the arch of the foot. A thermo polyurethane pad on the toe pairs nicely with an additional layer of interior insulation, providing the ultimate in comfort and warmth for the hiker. The weatherproof boot features a natural suede leather and synthetic felt upper along with a Nisqually Arctic Grip sole and a side zip-up that makes putting them on and taking them off a breeze. The Arctic 600 will be available in 2019 for $220.
