Danner Boots Unveils Its First Backpack Ever In The Brand’s 89-Year History

Founded in 1932 by Charles Danner, Danner Boots now stands as one of America’s most celebrated heritage footwear brands, with a nearly 90-year track record of producing high-quality, built-to-last boots. And now, for the first time in Danner’s expansive history, the Portland-based boot purveyor is applying its signature vintage-inspired aesthetic and typical hardwearing construction to its first-ever backpack with the Danner 26L Daypack.

Built to the same high standards as Danner’s American-made boots, the 26L Daypack is crafted from a hardwearing heavy-duty nylon that’s reinforced via genuine leather panels and accents. Secured via a flexible G-hook closure, the bag’s main 26-liter compartment boasts a padded laptop sleeve and a bevy of organizers and is supplemented via a pair of smaller zippered exterior pockets, a set of reflective utility loops, and expandable side pockets for accommodating water bottles and fuel cylinders and the like. Ample comfort is also afforded thanks to the backpack’s adjustable ergonomic memory foam padded shoulder and sternum straps and a padded back panel with air-flow channels, while a red drawcord brings some of Danner’s footwear design elements to the table. Measuring 12.25″ x 17″ x 6.25”, the Danner 26L Daypack is available now through Huckberry, with pricing set at $190.
