Though it’s only existed for half-a-decade, Dango is a name that seldom needs an introduction in the EDC space. Whether its wallets, watches, writing instruments, belts, or stash capsules, everything the California company produces is thoroughly calculated in its design and backed by extraordinarily hardwearing materials and construction. Coming fresh on the heels of its equally greyed-out DTEX-clad A-Series wallets, Dango has now released two of its most popular tactical wallets in a subtle new Cement Grey scheme.
Both belonging to the race car-inspired R-Series, the Cement Grey M1 and D01 wallets are constructed around 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum frames that are CNC-machined before being prismatic powder-coated in the new grey hue. RFID-blocking and designed to accommodate ten or more cards, the rugged frames feature integrated bottle openers and are mated, via stainless steel screws, to carbon fiber backplates on one side, and black, top grain leather with red accented stitching on the other. A silicone wallet band completes the package. TSA-compliant, both wallets are compatible with existing Dango multi-tools, affording them, even more, utility and making them that much more ideal for EDC duties. Available now, the Dango R Spec Series D01 and M1 in Cement Grey start from $99 and $129 respectively.
