Despite only having emerged onto the scene in 2015, Dango has quickly established itself as a leader in the everyday carry space, unleashing a slew of highly-celebrated, made-in-America wallets, multitools, watches, and a bevy of other EDC staples. And Dango continues its successful M.O. with the release of its latest EDC-focused offering: the Capsule Wide.

Sporting a similar design to the Bay Area company’s earlier Coin Capsule, the Capsule Wide is a round stash capsule that’s CNC-machined from 6061 aerospace-grade aluminum billet. Offered in anodized satin silver or jet black, the Capsule Wide features a machined twist-top cap backed by a water-resistant O-ring. Food-safe and measuring 58mm (2.28”) in diameter and 21mm (0.826”) deep, the Capsule Wide’s interior offers plenty of secure storage space for coins and bills, pills, SD cards, and other small everyday essentials. It also serves as an ideal vessel for matches or small lighters, tackle equipment, iodine tablets, and the like, while in the outdoors. This new EDC item also boasts a removable clip, as well as a loophole that affords the capsule a wide variety of carrying and tethering options. Available now, the Capsule Wide has been priced at $39, Dango is also offering the Capsule Wide in a bundled pack with their paracord and removable black stainless steel military gun sling-style clip.
