When it comes to customizing vintage Toyota Land Cruisers, nobody does it better than the FJ Company. Honestly, pick any of their builds at random and it will beat just about anything else we’ve ever seen — they just “get it.” And now, owning one has just gotten a little bit easier, thanks to their new series of custom Toyota Land Cruiser G40s.

Available in three different base editions — the classic Heritage, the adventure-ready Expedition, and the no-holds-barred Signature — each one of these retro 4x4s starts with an authentic vintage 1970-1983 Land Cruiser body. From there, the customization options are practically endless — though there are a few commonalities. Each is powered by a new Toyota 1GR-FE 4.0L V6 engine (capable of 228 horsepower), they come with a five-speed manual transmission, and all of them come with the option of a hard or soft top. They also boast ABS, traction control, an A/C system, a Bluetooth sound system, and so much more. Whether you’re looking for a top-of-the-line vintage daily driver or a hardcore overlanding adventure vehicle, you can have one from the FJ Company starting at $160,000.

Purchase: $160,000+
