Though it’s been nearly 30 years since the last installment, Alex Winter and Keanu Reeves are slated to soon reprise their roles as William “Bill” S. Preston Esq. and “Ted” Theodore Logan later this summer in the highly-anticipated 2020 movie, Bill & Ted Face The Music. Capitalizing on the forthcoming film’s hype is modern-day phone booth company, Cubicall, which just unveiled its limited edition “Bill & Ted’s Excellent Phone Booth.”

Measuring 92H × 44D × 27W (and weighing 600lbs), this offering takes Cubicall’s standard noise-canceling phone booth and bestows it with a number of iconic features from the booth seen in the seminal 1980s flick including the (red underlit) umbrella antenna — pre-gum — red interior, and backlit exterior “PHONE” panels. Made in America, this officially-licensed product boasts an authentic payphone that’s been retrofitted for Voice-Over IP as well as traditional LAN line calls. And while a phone booth may seem obsolete in 2020, Cubicall claims 70-80% of all offices employ an open-office floor plan, making these noise-canceling booths more logical than one might realize. The Cubicall Limited Edition Bill & Ted’s Excellent Phone Booth is currently available for preorder for $8,495 with shipping scheduled to commence in May 2020.
