CRKT Celebrates 25 Years With A Titanium Limited Edition Knife

Jul 1, 2019

Category: Gear

Ken Onion’s CRKT Homefront folding knife was a revolutionary design when it first came out (and still is), thanks to its tool-free Field Strip technology. But now it’s getting some premium upgrades to celebrate CRKT’s 25th anniversary in a new limited-edition version.

Specially made in Italy, only 500 of these CRKT Homefront knives will ever be made. And while the overall design is still the same — Field Strip tech and all — the materials of this limited run are getting a huge boost. That includes a frame lock handle that’s now crafted from 6AL4V titanium and a blade built out of M390 steel. All told, this premium blade measures up at 8.25″ in total (slightly shorter than the original) and 5.3 ounces (up from 4.8). That added heft, however, is more than made up for by its practically-indestructible, high-end construction. Get this outdoor-friendly everyday carry blade now for $295.

Purchase: $295
