Many of us know where brands like Nike, Starbucks, and of course Apple originated, but what about other household known brands?

The Corporate States of America was created by Steve Lovelace, and is a standard map that depicts the state’s most well known brand rather than the actual state name itself. Some of these are definitely a bit surprising, and then there  are some that were quite obvious (see Starbucks in Washington and Apple in California). It looks like we have Florida to thank for free UFC fight nights at Hooters, and Texas for our favorite soda. Check out all of the brands in the map below (unfortunately Alaska didn’t make the final cut).
