Ever since Todd Snyder’s founding in 2011, it’s served as one of the premier purveyors of men’s fashion, flexing the breadth of its namesake’s range in no shortage of collaborative projects that include the likes of everyone from Reigning Champ To Red Wing. Nevertheless, there is one footwear brand that (surprisingly) has yet to tap the New York-based designer’s expertise: Converse.
For the first time ever, Converse and Todd Snyder have finally come together on a collection — dubbed ‘You Don’t Know Jack’ — that sees the latter’s take on the iconic Jack Purcell sneaker. Up top, Snyder has given it a tonal canvas construction that’s accented by teasel suede, pink-tipped laces, and a contrasting toe-cap ‘smile.’ Available in both ‘Egret’ and ‘Obsidian,’ the shoe makes for quite the joint debut. However, the collab is much more than a pair of sneakers; Todd Snyder has also created some matching apparel that offers a new-age interpretation of classic prep style. Some 12 pieces in total, you’ll find tracksuits, polos, rugbies, and so much more. The collection will be available May 20th starting at $60.
