Converse Weatherized Collection
Looks like it’s time to start drafting up those wish lists, Converse just released their newest collection of sneakers this week. Known as the Fall/Holiday 2016 Converse Counter Climate-Shield Canvas Footwear and Apparel Collection, they’re releasing a handful of options that are sure to withstand the impending cooler and snowier weather.
As a whole, the collection offers unique designs on classic Converse silhouettes but with one twist, each sneaker is comprised of a climate shield canvas, getting its name from the durable water repellent treatment each sneaker receives before getting shipped out. Individually, the collection features variations on the Chuck Taylor All Star II, the All Star Low, the One Star, Jack Purcell Signatures and the Quantum High Top. Also, the All-Star II now features a gusseted tongue and the medial eyelets were removed to further mitigate abuse from the elements. Shoes in the collection now host barrel laces and reflective heel webbing to enhance visibility during those earlier sunsets and best of all, they are available for purchase today. Prices vary based on availability and style. [Purchase]
