Converse Jack Purcell x Hancock Wetland Sneaker
Cons are our go-to kicks for the summer season, and if the brand has anything to say about it, they’ll soon be our rainy day sneakers as well. The Nike owned brand has been looking to offer up nice alternatives to your typical winter boots with some weatherproof offerings of their own. This time around they’ve unveiled the Wetland sneaker.
Converse once again teamed up with the folks at Hanock Vulcanised Articles, building out a pair of mid-top Jack Purcell sneakers that were built to handle a bit of rain. The shoe features an upper based in black, constructed from a dual layer vulcanized material that on its own is pretty darn good at providing protection against the elements. But it’s the partial rubber cover colored in Hancock’s signature Mastic Grey that really helps waterproof these bad boys. Not only does this setup help keep your feet dry when it’s wet outside, but they also look great with that iconic white toe cap and matching midsole. [Purchase]
