With cold weather right around the corner, it’s time to start the predestined transition into warmer wear. Sure, preparing for winter weather might seem like a drag, but this year, Converse has decided to make our lives easier with a handful of snow-ready styles.
To complement its robust catalog, the Boston-based company has decided to outfit a number of its most prominent silhouettes with improved fabrics, outsoles, and construction. The military-styled Chuck Taylor MC18, which was introduced to Converse’s winter collection only a year ago, makes its triumphant return alongside the 1940s-inspired Chuck 70 Bosey and Bosey MC — water-repellant silhouettes that have garnered critical acclaim since their debut. These cold-weather examples boast a handful of improvements, including enhanced toe guards, revamped construction, and additional traction on slippery surfaces, thanks to the company’s dependable sole. The Taylor MC18 and Bosey MC will be available via Converse’s website on November 7.
