Converse Chuck 70 Retro Stripe High Top Sneakers

Converse’s roots run deep within classic sneaker culture, and their Chuck Taylor line is undoubtedly one of the most iconic shoes ever produced. The brand has decided to revisit their vintage past once again with the new Chuck 70 Retro Stripe — a high-top sneaker that sports some refreshingly modern updates.

The Retro Stripe is a Converse classic through and through, featuring the brand’s trademark black matte felt upper, white gum sole, and All-Star ankle patch made from debossed leather. To sauce things up a bit, the sneaker has been updated with a retro striped athletic sock near the ankle for a comfortable, relaxed fit that compliments the shoe’s classic look. Round rope laces interweave through the 70’s silver eyelets, while a ribbed fabric heel and extra cushioning on key areas of the shoe help to round out this nostalgic rendition.
