Converse 2015 Jack Purcell Signature Sneaker
Like many Converse fans out there, we were a bit worried when the brand said they would be redesigning the classic Jack Purcell silhouette. The shoe has remained a staple in our wardrobes for as far back as we can remember. It looks like all the fuss was over nothing, because Converse hit it out the park with this refresh for the 2015 Jack Purcell Signature Sneaker.
Most of the design elements we love so much from the low top sneaker have remained in tact. There are however some nice modern tweaks to the latest iteration. The shoe’s upper is now constructed from a two-ply duck canvas for strength and durability, and aluminum eyelets along with a streamlined toe cap are welcomed additions. The signature Purcell smile found on the toe cap is now detailed in contrasting Converse blue. For increased comfort, Converse added an Ortholite footbed complete with Nike Zoom Air cushioning. The shoes have just begun hitting select retails and can be scooped up for $95. [Purchase]
