Usually when we hear about a film doing an attire release, we expect to see some poorly printed t-shirts with designs that we’d rather do without. But as soon as we found out that the Star Wars: Rogue One campaign included a run of jackets from legendary outerwear brand Columbia, we were excited – if not still a bit skeptical. And then we saw them.
Even if you didn’t know these jackets were based on garments from that galaxy far, far away, the styling is unmistakeable. And each of the three offerings feature unique silhouettes and materials that set them apart from one another in more ways than simple styling. The Jyn Erso Rebel Jacket is a lightweight “leather-like” convertible insulated vest-jacket combo. The blacked-out Death Trooper Jacket is a spin on the brand’s OutDry Extreme Diamond Shell Jacket and features reflective elements and waterproofing. But the highlight of the trio is the Captain Cassian Andor Rebel Parka. It features a removable faux fur lined hood, body heat reflective lining, and a style that wouldn’t look out of place on Hoth. These badass jackets start at $400, but will be released in very limited numbers, so act quickly. [Purchase]
