Colorado Teardrop Summit Trailer

Colorado knows the outdoors. From hiking to camping to snowboarding to fishing, living in such a beautiful state necessitates weekly outdoor excursions. That’s why when we came across a bootstrapped business based out of the outdoor-centric city of Boulder, we knew their caliber of goods was going to be of high quality. Introducing Colorado Teardrops, a brand that develops teardrop camping trailers to outdoor enthusiasts across the country.

This model in particular is the Summit, designed to handle extreme off-road conditions and attaches with ease to any 4×4 vehicle. It features a full cabin with bunk beds that convert into a sofa while still offering enough room for a queen-sized bed. There’s also plenty of under floor storage, lighting, stove sliders, bi-folding doors strong enough to hold two Yeti coolers, and a massive galley. Despite all these amenities, the Summit weighs in at a reasonable 1,800 pounds and includes brakes as well as two 35” BF Goodrich Radial TA off-road tires (we did say this was suited for the great outdoors). You can also choose from a slew of additional upgrades including bike racks, a water tank, or solar panels just to name a few. It’s available now with a base price of $21,100. [Purchase]
