Now that the Black Friday madness is behind us and people are safe to walk into department stores again, we feel it’s OK to tell you about the Cold Steel War Hammer. Made of straight grain American Hickory with a head forged out of 5150 steel that’s differentially heat treated, this lightweight tool can quickly pierce and crush tough materials while absorbing the shock of heavy blows.

The handle measures 30″ long, so you’ll have lots of leverage when Thoring your way through some drywall or triceratops hide, should that whole Jurassic Park thing come true. And if you think this thing isn’t battle-ready, note that the the handle is “protected from assault by an opponent armed with an edged weapon via a pair of sturdy steel languets which can be attached below the head with the screws provided.” [Purchase]
