Every adventurer needs a reliable pullover jacket. It should be warm enough to stave off freezing temperatures, but light enough that it doesn’t encumber the journey by causing you to overheat. The Alpha Lite Pullover from Cold Smoke Co promises to do all that and more, for the discerning traveler.

Comprised of the finest quality Japanese water-repellant ripstop nylon, the Alpha Lite is as lightweight as its moniker implies. Polartec Alpha adaptable insulation forms the inner lining that keeps you warm. Alpha Insulation was originally created for soldiers in the U.S. Army Special Forces. The logic behind the pullovers remarkable insularity is scientifically solid: low-density fibers keep moisture vapor moving through the fabric resulting in order to regulate heat and moisture transference. The water-repellant side zipper makes it easier to squeeze in and out of the jacket, an act that can become cumbersome after you’re sufficiently bundled in a number of layers.
