Classic Masterpieces Pixelated with LEGO by Marco Sodano
While LEGOs are used to build nearly everything under the sun, it’s not too often that we see someone attempt to recreate classic art masterpieces with the toy building blocks.
That’s exactly what Italian artist Marco Sodano decided to do in his latest project. The entire project was created in order to illustrate the point that utilizing the LEGO building blocks we all know and love, every child can be an authentic artist. We’ve always had an affinity for LEGO, and this project gets a huge 2 thumbs up from us. There are 3 different pieces from the series include 2 from Da Vinci in the Mona Lisa and Lady with an Ermine alongside Johannes Vermeer’s Girl with a Pearl Earring.
