Clarks Desert Boot GTX
Ever since Clarks first started making the Desert Boot in the 1950s, they’ve remained essentially unchanged. Now, the stalwart brand is adding a new technology to one of their oldest styles. Introducing the waterproof Desert Boot GTX.
Suede and water don’t mix too well, and as result, neither has the Desert Boot and sudden downpours or unexpected puddles. Now thanks to the application of a Gore-Tex membrane, this shoe will be able to repel water to protect both your feet and the upper, making the shoe good to wear deep into the Fall season. While one would anticipate to see this technology make it’s way to a variety of different colorways, right now it is being applied only to the Loden Green Suede and the Black Suede. Prices start at $160. [Purchase]
