Civivi’s Polymorph Is An Ultra-Utilitarian Hybrid Titanium Carabiner Multi-Tool

Carabiner-integrated multi-tools are by no means a novel idea and have long been popular in the EDC space, though Civivi has managed to raise the bar in the segment via the delivery of one of the most functional and utilitarian carabiner multi-tools ever conceived with the all-new Polymorph.

Borrowing its monicker from the Dungeons & Dragons universe, the Polymorph is constructed around a 6AL4V titanium carabiner frame with a matching titanium gate, and integrated lanyard hole, hex wrench, and bottle opener. The bottom of the multi-tool features a rotating wheel with a flathead, Phillips, Allen, and two different Torx bits — all of which are made from steel and boast a 43 to 45 HRC rating. Measuring just 2.8″ L x 1.65″ W and weighing less than 1oz, the Polymorph also packs a retracting, four-position, locking 58-60 HRC-rated 9Cr18MoV knife steel utility blade — a major step up from traditional disposable/replaceable XACTO-style blades. The carabiner multi-tool is also sold with a trio of spare 9Cr18MoV utility blades. Priced at just under $95, the Civivi Polymorph Carabiner Multi-tool is offered in blue, bronze, or gray finishes and is slated for a release in August.
