Civilware Elk Knives

Nothing like the combination of big game and knives to bring the hunting lifestyle into the foray. Civilware, a favorite in the world of fixed blades, received a handsome upgrade of farm raised elk from Colorado. Both the well-known Striker and its mini-me version the Cutter (both pictured above) feature Civilware’s iconic wavy blade designs, blending perfectly with the texture and appearance of the cream elk handle.

Each blade is handmade in the U.S.A with 1095 carbon steel, known to withstand heavy use and remain sharp over the years. Its precision ground edges allow a multitude of uses beyond the realm of traditional fixed blade knives as well. Each knife also comes with an ambidextrous leather sheath for easy carry and quick release in a moment’s notice. The Striker is primarily designed as a backup self-defense knife in the big game hunting scene while the Cutter serves as an all-purpose blade designed to be there when you’re in need. They’re both available now on the Civilware site. [Purchase]
