Citroen Type H WildCamp Adventure Van

While we don’t see anything other than imports of the double-chevron brand here in the States, French automotive brand, Citroen, still has a few unmistakable iconic motor vehicles – even to those of us here in the USA. One of those vehicles is their Type H van, which they’ve brought into the current moment by transforming it into an incredible and stylish adventure van.

Maintaining this vehicle’s classic looks, there are quite a few updates that bring this new edition up to speed with current trends – including the use of a BlueHDi diesel engine capable of 161 horsepower. That power plant is mated to an ABS system with brake assist and the option for Poclain traction control with a limited slip differential. The rig also gets a comfortable and surprisingly spacious interior – with captain-style cockpit seats, bench seating along with a fold-down table, and a rear sleeping area with room for two full-grown adults. It also gets a 2-burner stove, a functional stainless steel sink, a fridge and freezer, as well as an Alpine infotainment system with integrated navigation. It’s just a concept right now, but with any luck, this impressive adventure van will be available to consumers in the near future.
