Citroen SpaceTourer Rip Curl Camper

American media has been hyping ‘Van Life’ for almost a year now, but as of late it seems like the Europeans are the ones coming out with all the cool adventure vehicles. First Volkswagen announced their I.D. Buzz, then their California XXL Camper, and now Citroen has teamed up with Rip Curl for their SpaceTourer Camper Concept.

Powered by a BlueHDI 150S&S 3-liter Diesel engine that puts out 148 horses and 272 pound feet of torque to all four wheels, this thing is capable of pulling off-road and driving right up to the beach. It features a shower, kitchenette, gas stove, dining area, fridge, and sink for all of the creature comforts you otherwise miss while on the road. To fight the claustrophobia that can sometimes come along with being stuck in a van all day, the SpaceTourer also boasts a rooftop tent that pops open with an easy latch. The van can seat up to 7 people, sleep four, and stay out as long as it takes to find that perfect beach.
