Citizen’s Updated Promaster Aqualand Is A Formidable Professional Diver

These days, not a whole lot of people wear dive watches for their intended purpose, opting for wrist-worn dive computers instead. But if you prefer to keep your dives more traditional, you’re going to need a feature-packed modern professional diver. And that’s exactly what you get with the latest Promaster Aqualand diver from Citizen.

The updated Citizen Promaster Eco-Drive Aqualand 200m is one serious professional dive watch, with innovative features that are of great use underwater. To start, it has everything you’d expect from a modern diver: an ISO-compliant 200m depth rating, unidirectional dive-time bezel, sapphire crystal, and dive-grade lume. But there are also additional goodies, including a 50-minute chronograph and an automatic depth sensor. Once the watch hits the water, the sensor resets the depth-indicator hand to zero where it then begins tracking your descent up to 50m and will then remember your max depth after your dive. The watch is available in three colors, with the most tempting being the limited blue version that comes with a Citizen-branded titanium JAWZ dive rescue tool from Lifeline. The watches are available now from Citizen, with the non-limited versions priced at $795 and the L.E. with dive tool set going for $1,095.
