Fixed blade knives are a must have for any outdoor arsenal- the backbone for survival kits if you will. While there is certainly no shortage of options on the current market, Illinois based product designer William Egbert Jr. knew that outdoor enthusiasts would welcome a high quality knife hand crafted on American soil with open arms. Say hello to the Cholera Mk1 fixed blade.

Through his Vulture Equipment Works company, Ebgert was determined to create the highest quality survival knife available, and the Cholera delivers in flying colors. Each military grade knife is hand made right here in the U.S. (the way all outdoor gear should be) using 1095 high carbon steel. The modified Gyuto style knife has been crowned an “all mountain knife,” and was created to be man’s best friend during his exploration of nature. The knife measures in at 10 inches in overall length (5.5-inch blade), and comes complete with a Kydex Sheath with rotating belt attachment, 550 Paracord, and magnesium starter and sparker with piggyback sheath.  As the saying goes, “It’s not if, but when.” And when that time does come, you’ll be thanking the heavens above that your sheath is equipped with a Cholera.
