Chicken Point Cabin In Northern Idaho
There are some windows that even the most loyal Apple fanatic has to respect. The massive window in the Chicken Point Cabin is one such window.
Designed by Olson Kundig Architects and located in a rural area of Northern Idaho (wait, there are non-rural areas of Northern Idaho?), this lakeside retreat sleeps 10 and features a huge window/wall that measures 30 feet by 20 feet. It opens up to a magnificent view of the lake and surrounding wilderness—really nice. The entire structure is made out of concrete, steel, and plywood, with the 19-foot tall steel entry door making it perfect for carrying skis through. There’s also a 4-foot diameter steel fireplace to warm up your frozen digits.
