This ‘Fury’ Chevy Silverado 1500 Was Tested Via An 8,700-Mile Australian Tour

The 2020 Chevy Silverado 1500 is already a formidable pickup, but apparently, that wasn’t enough for the aftermarket-minded team at Walkinshaw Performance. To give the vehicle even more utilitarian appeal, the outfit has created its very own post-production kit known as the “Fury Pack.”

As you might expect, the full-sized offering is even more indomitable when it’s been treated to some performance-focused TLC. To give the Silverado even more clearance for off-road endeavors, Walkinshaw has introduced a subtle (but noticeable) two-inch lift kit, 35-millimeter MTV dampers, and 20-inch Method alloy wheels wrapped in Goodyear A/T rubber. A set of six-piston brake calipers make their debut alongside the truck’s newly-acquired rollers, pairing nicely with an included build plate, tailgate badge, and decal kit. But the most interesting upgrade to the Silverado comes in the form of its cat-back sports exhaust system, which lends a clean, futuristic look to the vehicle. To ensure that the build is stable enough for everyday use, Walkinshaw took the 1500 on an 8,700-mile tour of Australia, visiting some of the country’s most formidable locations along the way.
