Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 AEV Truck

Chevy’s Colorado ZR2 pickup truck is already one of the best off-road vehicles you can drive off the lot, bar none. But, it was apparently not beefy enough for the brand. So, they’ve partnered with the folks at AEV to bring a new concept version of the dirt-devouring beast to life: the Chevrolet Colorado ZR2 AEV.

One of the bigger improvements to this concept that gives it an edge on extreme terrain is the addition of a 2.8-liter Duramax turbo-diesel engine. It’s also been equipped with a Chevrolet Performance development suspension, AEV off-road bumpers, complete underbody skid plates, high clearance fender flares, and a high-rise snorkel intake. On top of that, this impressive pickup sports four AEV DualSport beadlock wheels, front and rear LED auxiliary lighting, 35-inch BF Goodrich KM2 Mud-Terrain tires, and – if you can believe it – a fridge/freezer, amongst other things. Truly, this mountaineering mammoth will have you wondering less what it can do and more what it can’t.
