Chevrolet Colorado Xtreme
The off-road community has been treated with a ton of 4×4 concepts in recent weeks. Most of which came courtesy of the fine folks at Jeep, who released a handful of models for their Easter Safari, and now – while everyone was focused on the New York Auto Show – Chevy has unveiled their Colorado Extreme Trailblazer at the Bangkok International Motor Show.
Outfitted with an aggressive hood scoop, engine intake snorkel, bolt wheels, and light bar, this beast of a truck was built for one thing – off roading. And while we’re not sure if all of these additions will make it to the sales floor here in the states, we are hopeful Chevy will keep the design elements like the front grille and headlights in tact. No word on what powerplant will be nestled under the hood, but we imagine it will be something fully capable. Sure, this concept isn’t quite ready to hit the dirt, but you can take some solace in knowing that this show vehicle does give us some idea as to what direction Chevy designers and engineers want to take their line of trucks. By the looks of it – they’re doing it right.
