Chevrolet Camero GT4.R Race Car

After a fruitful career, Chevrolet’s technical partner Pratt & Miller Engineering is now ready to part ways with the race-ready Camaro GT4.R race car, meaning they’re set to offer it up to the public for sale. It’s a bold move but a necessary one after the car competed and won several events during the 2017 season.

As a refresher, the powerplant Chevrolet Racing put together for this car was no joke – try a dry-sump 6.2 liter LT1 V-8 on for size. It features direct fuel injection, a carbon fiber intake, and boasts an output of 480 horses. Additionally, wider front fenders, racing-friendly side skirts, a hood extractor, and carbon fiber doors, rear spoiler, and front splitter all contribute to the GT4.R’s aggressive stance while 18-inch Forgeline alloy wheels wrapped in 305 tires keep the Camaro on course. Also, Brembo Motorsport six-piston brake calipers along with front and rear antiroll bars work to mitigate any unexpected incidents from getting out of hand. The price? How about a cool $259,000 as a starting point. [H/T: Motortrend]
